FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Razorback soon-to-be junior Katie Stripling won a gold medal at the 2008 North America, Central America and Caribbean (NACAC) Under-23 Track & Field Championships in Toluca, Mexico.

Stripling, a two-time SEC Champion and 2008 NCAA Outdoor All-American in the pole vault, cleared 14-3.25 to win the event, set a personal best and break her own school record. Stripling held the previous UA record at 14-2, set at the John McDonnell Invitational in April.
