Breakthrough Long-Lasting Mineral-Based Cosmetics Formulated to Withstand Active Lifestyles and Hot Climates
Austin, Texas- July 22, 2008- Rae Cosmetics has announced it is partnering with champion tri-athlete Desiree Ficker as her official cosmetics sponsor. Headquartered in Austin, Rae Cosmetics is a long lasting mineral-based cosmetics line specifically designed to be perspiration and heat resistant. Inspired by minerals and pigments that exist in nature, Rae Cosmetics work with all skin tones and types-- created to take the heat, like the women who wear it.
Rae decided to sponsor Ficker because of her impressive record and her ability to inspire women of all ages. "Our products are for women who have active lifestyles or live in hot, humid climates. To me, our partnership is a perfect match. Desiree represents women who embrace life fully and take care of themselves in the process," Rae said. "She's inspiring and beautiful-- both inside and out-- and we're proud to be a part of her team."
Rae Cosmetics offer a wide range of mineral-based products made with a micro-crushed blend of clinical-grade nutrients, antioxidants, and non-chemical sunscreens to nourish the skin and guard against dangerous sunrays and environmental elements, like free radicals. The oil free lighter-than-air mineral formulas allow skin to breathe freely and function normally, as if wearing nothing at all. They are resistant to perspiration and heat and will not crease, cake or smear in the heat and or while exercising.
Additionally, Rae is both animal and earth friendly. All of Rae's ingredient suppliers, manufacturers and laboratories also support the Cruelty-Free Commitment and their use of minimal packaging supports the Clean World Commitment.
For Ficker, representing Rae Cosmetics is just her style. "Rae Cosmetics are long lasting and look great even after grueling competition," Ficker said. "The products are not only good for your skin, they stay on and you don't have to worry about constantly reapplying. It's perfect for any woman who gets out there every day and gives it her all."
Ficker won the South Africa 70.3 Ironman in January 2008. She will next race the Ford Ironman USA Lake Placid on July 20, 2008.
