Triathlon: “Best Of The US” Invites Oregon’s Elite To Race At The Oregon Trout City Of Portland Triathlon On August 31

(St. Paul, MN – 7/24/2008)–– “Best of the US” Management and Race Director Jeff Henderson invite the triathletes of Beaver State to race at the 2nd annual OREGON TROUT CITY OF PORTLAND TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US OREGON QUALIFIER, an ambitious young Olympic distance race that will be staged in downtown Portland, OR on August 31. Among the elite amateur triathletes we hope to see on August 31 are Linnea Alvord, Matt Berg, David Campbell, Ann Ciaverella, David Ciaverella, Annie Davis, Bridget Dawson, Grant Folske, Susan Fox, Jason Kurian, Sheri Lehmer (2005 BOUS Representative), Andy Libert, Kaytee Petross, Ignacio Rodriguez-Lopez, Jesse Thomas and Robyn Wangberg. The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Oregon at the “Best of the US National Championship” on October 26 at Tempe Towne Lake in Tempe, AZ. Any combination of the abovementioned male and female triathletes would assure a strong presence for Oregon at the Championship.
