Athletics: Michelob Ultra Fort Lauderdale 13.1 Brings Scenic Course Back For South Florida Runners

3,000 participants to enjoy charm of Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla (November 2, 2016) - Elite and recreational runners and walkers will experience the beauty of Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Las Olas Blvd and Fort Lauderdale Beach as the sun rises November 13 and the Michelob ULTRA Fort Lauderdale 13.1 returns to the streets for a ninth year.

More than 3,000 runners are expected at the start line at the downtown Riverfront before winding through a course that captures the charm of Fort Lauderdale including the most nostalgic neighborhoods in the city before venturing down Las Olas Blvd. to Fort Lauderdale beach for the final five miles.

The finish line and ultimate post-race festival on the sands on the Southern end of the beach will include food, live entertainment and complimentary beer at the Michelob ULTRA Beer garden (Ages 21+).
