COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Building on seven years of partnership together, USA Triathlon today announced it has signed a renewal agreement with TrainingPeaks, the leading training software for endurance sports, through 2020. Through the partnership TrainingPeaks will deliver valuable resources for grassroots members, high performance athletes and certified coaches as the organization's official training software for USA Triathlon, as well as support for many other programs. The agreement ensures the National Governing Body will receive the most comprehensive training, analysis and planning capabilities to advance the future of the sport heading into the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
As the complete web, mobile and desktop solution for enabling smart and effective endurance training, TrainingPeaks will continue to provide training and tracking, analysis and planning capabilities to athletes and coaches.

Beginning five years prior to creating an official partnership, TrainingPeaks products have provided USA Triathlon's High Performance Teams with valuable training insight. The software has also formed a vital resource for USA Triathlon's athlete identification and development as the organization has strived to increase the number and quality of programs serving junior-aged and developmental elite athletes across the nation. In keeping step with this important work, TrainingPeaks will now create starter training plans for participants of USA Triathlon's Age Group (Sprint and Olympic Distances), Collegiate Club & High School, Youth & Junior, and Duathlon National Championships, as well as for Team USA members who compete in ITU Age Group World Championships.
Additionally, TrainingPeaks will provide Premium Athlete Edition subscriptions to overall winners at above-mentioned USA Triathlon-owned National Championships and to Athlete of the Year award winners. In addition, complimentary Coach Edition software packages will be given to the top overall award winners in each division at the National Challenge Competition (NCC) for USA Triathlon-certified clubs.
