Triathlon: "Best Of The US" Invites Georgia's Best To Race At The West Point Lake Triathlon On June 13

(St. Paul, MN -- 4/14/2009) -- "Best of the US" Management and Race Director Jim Rainey (Georgia Multisports Productions, LLC) invite the triathletes of the Empire State of the South to race at the 7th annual WEST POINT LAKE TRIATHLON / BEST OF THE US GEORGIA QUALIFIER, a popular and prestigious Olympic distance race at West Point Lake near LaGrange, GA on June 13.

Georgia is one of America's top 5 most talent-rich tri states, rivaling California, Florida and Colorado. Among the top men that we hope to see at West Point Lake on June 13 are defending USA Triathlon National Age Group Champion Jason Schott, Howard Curtis, Will Flicker, Tim Fuller, Gerry Halphen, Taylor Hemming, Andrew Johnston, Christopher Jones, Todd Kennedy, Steven Kester, Richard Klepacz, Mark McLauchlan, Kevin Patton, Raderk Parnica, Nemanja Pavlovic, David Phillips, Dennis Reardon (29th at 2008 BOUS Championship), Steven Reed, Dylan Rist, Bob Rogan, Jason Schott, Jeremy Sipos (11th at the 2007 BOUS Championship), Clayton Tillery and Jason Willis. Some of the top women we hope to see are Amy Amlicke, Kari Bradley, Carrie Brady, Anne Chrzanowski, Alexandra Classen, Kim Dunker, Catherine Fuss, April Gellatly, Gabby Hauck, rising junior star Katie June, 17, Samantha Kenney, Kristine Kester, Carey Kilton, Amy Kloner, Jennifer Lesser, Susan Lipscomb, Alexandra Lonergan, Kristel Maes (16th at 2008 BOUS Championship and 19th at 2005 BOUS Championship), Lisa Marshall, Katrina Mitchell, Megan Osler, Michelle Shoup, Mary Beth Shaw, Laura Sophiea (2006 USAT Master of the Year), Heather Tarpley, Katherine Tindol, and Hana Sykorova.

The fastest male and female resident amateurs will receive invitations to represent Georgia at the "Best of the US National Championship" on September 27 in Mission Viejo, California. Any male/female combination of the abovementioned athletes will give the Empire State of the South a formidable presence at the Championship.
