From the Course Record time in London to the Women's finish in Boston, the 2009 Marathon Season has kicked off on Universal Sports.
The Fortis Rotterdam Marathon flat course brought the 2nd and 3rd fastest Marathon times in history. The Men's finish came down to a final sprint. The B.A.A Boston Marathon brought similar excitement from the Women's side. Both American's Ryan Hall and Kara Goucher finished 3rd. The Flora London Record saw its Men's Course Record fall as Samuel Wanjiru finished in 2:05:10.
