Triathlon: Andrea Myers makes 5th appearance for Ohio; husband Scott finishes third with a sub-par day

St. Paul, MN / August 18, 2009:The husband/wife team of Scott and Andrea Myers has been a fixture in Ohio and on the Best of the U.S. scene since 2005. Andrea has finished 10th, 12th and 14th‹twice‹at the Championship. Scott had a spectacular 2nd place finish in 2007 and has posted 6th, 10th and 16th place results. Together they earned 4th Fastest State Team honors for Ohio, in 2007. For the first time, Andrea will be the sole Myers toeing the Best of the U.S. start line.

She won't be alone, however. Her new Ohio teammate is 21-year-old Ross Hartley, a former High School Cross Country runner who has been picking up overall wins throughout Ohio for the last few years.

Vermilion Harbor Triathlon is the 45th Best of the U.S. Qualifier Race for 2009.
