A new application for Apple's iPhone targeted at running fans has hit the market. Called TrackGeek, the $4.99 program was designed to aggregate existing sources of running news, photos, videos and results.
"I want to be a good mobile platform for this kind of content," said developer Jim McDannald in a telephone interview.
McDannald explained that his app, which is available at itunes.com, will provide links to websites like RunningTimes.com, LetsRun.com, and TrackAndFieldNews.com. It will also link to athlete Twitter feeds and RSS newsfeed from various sites.
