The Ottawa Athletic Club Racing Team was founded in 1981 as a road racing club. Today it has evolved into a women's road racing team and triathlon/duathlon club.

The prime focus of the OAC Racing Team continues to be the provision of coaching, facilities and the group environment for the development of women runners and triathletes/duathletes.

From May though October the club has group training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30. From January to the end of April the club trains at the Louis Riel Dome on Bearvrook Road in Blackburn Hamlet on Tuesday night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

From May to October the club meets at Rockcliffe Park/The Arboretum on Tuesday and the Terry Fox Track at Mooney's Bay on Thursday, at 5:30 both days.

The club is now accepting a limited number of applications for membership from female road runners and triathletes/duathletes who are looking for a group training environment and who either have run a sub 20:00 5K (or equivalent age-graded performance) or have the potential to do so with training.

The club fee will be an across the board $125.00 for new members.. The membership year runs from November 1 to October 31.

In addition to the club fee, athletes are responsible for the Dome fees and Terry Fox Track fees and the optional OAC (fitness club) membership.
