SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - April 4, 2016 - New Global Adventures is proud to officially announce the inaugural Sugar Daddy Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids Fun Run coming to Santa Clarita on Saturday, June 18th, 2016. Celebrate Fathers Day by kicking off the weekend with a fun race taking you on a scenic tour through the beautiful Santa Clarita Valley.
"Santa Clarita is one of the Southern California hidden gems featuring a terrific series of paseos and pathways navigating around community, giving runners a great experience and keeping us active and healthy." says runner and race director Terry Majamaki.
Runners get to enjoy the best of Santa Clarita's awesome paths plus enjoy a special ice cream treat at the finish line to help cool them down from the summer heat. This is a race for everyone including; runners, walkers, hikers, there is even a Kids Fun Run, making for a great family event.
Registration is now open on the official website and is also available on the popular Active.com event and activity website.
Race day is Saturday June 18th, 2016, the start is located at the Iron Horse trailhead off Magic Mountain Pkwy in Santa Clarita, starting around 7:00 AM. Check the website for complete event details.
A runners carbo-load dinner option will be available on Friday June 17th at the local favorite Bella Cucina Italian restaurant.
