More than 100 exhibitors will be on display at the free, three-day Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo that kicks off BMO Vancouver Marathon weekend
Vancouver, BC: April 25, 2016 - Internationally acclaimed and local brands will showcase their latest products and services to thousands of runners and visitors at the BMO Vancouver Marathon Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo at the downtown waterfront Vancouver Convention Centre West, April 28-30.
"The Health, Sports and Lifestyle Expo kicks off race weekend and celebrates the 45th year of the Vancouver Marathon," says Charlene Krepiakevich, Executive Director of the non-profit Vancouver International Marathon Society, organizes the event. "The Expo anchors our race weekend and is the hub of runner excitement, energy, and community. While a focal point for runners, anyone interested in health and lifestyle services and products is welcome."
As the largest Sports & Health Expo in Western Canada, the event features over 100 exhibitors that showcase running related products and other services and experiences promoting an overall healthy lifestyle.
With major brands like Running Room, Saucony, Steve Nash, BMW and Red Bull, visitors can expect exciting and interactive activations and stage presentations. Attendees can also expect loads of free sampling from exhibitors such as Clif Bar, Larabar, Nuun, and Natural Factors.
The Expo spans 70,000 square feet of award-winning convention space on the shores of the Vancouver Waterfront. Both indoor and outdoor attractions will welcome runners and visitors in this stunning setting.
A new Musical Showcase on stage at the outdoor terrace of the downtown waterfront Vancouver Convention Centre West will also take place at the Expo on Thursday and Friday. Local entertainers include Top Line Vocal Choir, JennaMae and the Groove Section, Fiddlin Frenzy and many more. In addition, Steve Nash Fitness Club will activate their free outdoor fitness classes on Saturday from 12pm – 4pm.
The FREE three-day Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo, which further cements Vancouver as one the most active cities in the world, is open to the general public on Thursday April 28 (5pm-8pm), Friday April 29 (11am-8pm) and Saturday April 30 (10am-6pm).

The Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo is also the opportunity for registered BMO Vancouver Marathon runners to pick up their race kits including race bib, timing chip, TransLink Compass Card, Saucony technical shirts, souvenir gear and other items.
New this year, the event has expanded to offer a 2.5KM Walk so there is truly an event for everyone at the BMO Vancouver Marathon. Race weekend also features a Kids Run, 8KM race, Relay, Half Marathon and Vancouver’s only 42.2KM marathon course.
