DALLAS (May 31, 2016) - Organizers for the BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon and Behringer Relay announced they are partnering with Luke’s Locker to host two fun runs in honor of Global Running Day, June 1. Luke’s Locker, which offers the official training program for the BMW Dallas Marathon and BMW Dallas Half Marathon, will host a training fun at each of its Dallas retail store locations on June 1:
- 6AM at Luke’s Locker Mockingbird - Global Running Day Fun Run (3046 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75205)
- 6PM at Luke’s Locker White Rock - Global Running Day + White Rock Anniversary Party (7317 Gaston Ave., Dallas, TX 75214)
Runners who participate in a Global Running Day run at either location can enjoy an easy three to six mile run and win prizes and raffles from Luke’s Locker, merchandise partners and the BMW Dallas Marathon. Nike wear tests will be available at the Mockingbird location, and Luke’s Locker White Rock will host Mizuno wear tests.
Global Running Day is a day for people around the world to share their passion for the sport of running and inspire others to get moving. Runners can find events near them, and pledge to take part in some type of running activity on June 1, 2016, at globalrunningday.org or by using #globalrunningday.
