Don’t miss your chance to participate in this year’s Canada Army Run. This unique event, presented by BMO Bank of Montreal, is ready to welcome participants from across Canada and the world as they run, walk, and roll in our nation’s capital.
"I am looking forward to welcoming participants to the Canada Army Run, where our men and women in uniform will stand side-by-side with Canadians who continuously show their support for the Canadian Armed Forces. I invite everyone to join us during the Canadian Army Run Weekend (17 and 18 September) as we celebrate our soldiers. I am more than impressed that so many people have taken up the Commander’s Challenge and encourage everyone to come join us during the Canada Army Run." - Lieutenant-General Paul Wynnyk, Commander Canadian Army
About the Canada Army Run
Canada Army Run, presented by BMO Bank of Montreal, is one of the most inspiring events in the country, where civilians, Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) personnel, and runners of all ages and abilities run, walk, and roll together to show their pride as Canadians and as runners.
Since 2008, Canada Army Run has raised more than $1.6 million in support of Soldier On and the Military Families Fund - two CAF financial support programs that provide assistance to ill and injured soldiers and military families in need.
New to this year, the Commander’s Challenge is an official event within Canada Army Run where participants run, walk or roll officially in both the 5K and half marathon events. Participants who register for this event will receive a unique bib and race shirt, as well as the 5K and half marathon race shirts. In addition, upon completion of the challenge, participants will receive a special coin as well as their dog tag medals.
The Canada Army Run race weekend offers something for everyone, including a unique opportunity to interact with your Canadian Army.
